Experience Mauritius with us
Every year, Mauritius welcomes new residents eager to discover and experience island living in this tropical and charming environment.
Mauritius is a small island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, 65km long by 45km wide; and only about a 12-hour flight from Europe. Its tropical climate offers a very comfortable temperature all year round. Mauritius only has 2 seasons - summer is hot and humid (27°C – 33°C) from November to April; winter is cooler (17°C – 25°C) from May to October.
The successive waves of immigration throughout the years have brought an incredible mix of cultures to this island - European, Indian, African, Creole, who live together in harmony and co-operation on this small piece of paradise.
The official language is English, although French and Creole remain the most spoken languages. The local currency is the Mauritian Rupee (Rs.) |
